Primitive Grain Sack Fall Stitchery Pumpkin Pillow | Handmade Fall Decor

This pillow was made from an old grain sack, an antique cutter quilt and heavily aged osnaburg fabric. I layered this pillow with the antique cutter quilt piece behind the heavily aged osnaburg fabric with this pretty design handstitched on it. The pumpkin has a brown wool stem. The back of the pillow is natural modern grain sack material. This piece measures 18" x 12"
The grain sack used to create this pillow is in excellent condition. The cutter quilt shows signs of fraying and minor staining. The osnaburg fabric was deliberately aged to give it a time worn appearance.
I used a pattern by Buttermilk Basin to create the stitchery.
