Hand-Stitched Wool Strawberry Patch Table Runner | Antique Quilt Applique Spring Decor

This pretty hand appliqued table runner was made using cobblestone mill dyed wool for the background, varying shades of olive green wool for the leaves and stems, light mauve wool for the flowers along with pieces from an antique quilt for the patches and flower buds as well as fabric from Moda's Lizzies Legacy line for the strawberries, patches and tongues. The cute little dragonfly in the top corner was made using a greenish brown wool for the body and a tan herringbone wool for its wings.

This pretty runner measures 21 1/2" long x 18" wide. This is a beautiful piece and would look wonderful on a dining table or sideboard for Spring. I used a pattern from Maggie Bonanomi to create this piece.
