Primitive Handstitched Star and Vine Stitchery Candle Mat | Primitive Decor

This candle mat was handstitched on heavy cotton muslin using a pattern by Primitive Stitches. I backed the stitchery with dark cranberry red wool felt. This piece measures 10" square. It is such a great piece to use throughout the year but I see it especially being beautiful for patriotic holidays as well as Christmas.
