Antique Quilt Handstitched Pillow

This primitive style pillow was handstitched by me using aged muslin and an antique cutter quilt piece. The verse on the aged muslin reads " Mama says I must be perfect cause God don't make no mistakes". I blanket stitched the muslin to a piece from a of very old quilt. I used modern grain sack material for the back of the pillow. This piece measures 13" x 10". This would be adorable in a child's room or nursery or as a baby shower gift.
As with most antique textiles, the pieces used to make this pillow show lots of age, wear and use and have rips, stains and thin places in the quilt.
